호주 시민권 신청시 필요한 서류들

There are three categories of documents required for your citizenship application. Each category provides a checklist of documents.

If you apply:

• online through the website, you will be prompted to attach scanned copies of your documents. You must then bring your original documents to your citizenship appointment.
• on a paper form, attach certified copies of your documents to your application. You must then bring your original documents to your citizenship appointment.

There is general information about documents that may assist you.

If your documents are not in English, you will need to provide official translations from an accredited translator.

If you have difficulty finding suitable documents please call the Citizenship Information Line on 131 880 in Australia between 8.30 am and 4.30 pm Monday to Friday.

If you are outside Australia and need assistance please contact your nearest Australian mission.

필요한 서류는 3가지로 나뉜다

Proof of identity documents

신원증명서류

-내 사진과 사인 증명위해: 호주 운전면허증 or 여권

-내 현재 주소증명위해: 가스or전기 요금통지서 아니면 렌트계약서

-출생증명 위해: 출생증명서

-내 신원증명 위해: identity declaration 과 여권사진에 시민권자에게 사인받기

All applicants, including children, must provide proof of their identity. To prove your identity, you must provide documents that collectively show: your photograph and signature your current residential address evidence of your date of birth, birth name and any changes of name evidence of your identity in the community. Evidence of arrival in Australia. A passport Other travel documents

A current document with your photograph and/or signature

An Australian driver's licence, or
A passport, or
UNHCR document, or
A national identity card, or
Other documents containing a signature and photograph such as: an air crew identity document, seafarer identity document, military identity document or student card.

Evidence of your current residential address

Rental contracts or rates notice.

Evidence of your date of birth, birth name and any changes of name

A full birth certificate, or your country's equivalent
Evidence of links between present and previous names, for example a marriage or divorce certificate, if applicable
Change of name documents from an Australian Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages, if applicable
Documents showing other names that you or your children have been known by.

Evidence of your identity in the community

If you are 16 years of age or over, you will need to complete a National Police Checking Service (NPCS) Application/Consent Form (consent from a parent or guardian is required if you are under 18 years of age)
You will need to provide original penal clearance certificates from overseas countries if, since the grant of your permanent Australian visa: you lived or travelled overseas since the age of 18 years or over, and   the total time spent overseas added up to 12 months or more, and  the time spent in any one country was more than 90 days, or  you are requested to do so by the department. If you are applying outside Australia, then Australia should be considered an overseas country.

결론) 준비할건 많지 않지만, 출생증명서 는 미리 한국에서 받아놓고 번역본 만들어놓는게 낫겠다는 생각임.
